The best Hostel in the Best Location inside Bangkok.

Bangkok has so many fantastic hostels, it’s really hard to choose the best one. For us, for a hostel to be considered the best, it really needs to be in the best location. And for my wife and I, our favorite place to stay is the VM1 hostel inside the Victory Monument area.
Located in the heart of the Victory Monument area, the VM1 hostel has private rooms with private bathrooms for around 1300 baht ($35 USD). They also nice have bunk-bed style rooms if you are with a large group. My wife and I chose one of the private rooms, and we loved it.
We enjoyed the elegant artwork found throughout the VM1 hostel.

The VM1 hostel is made of very clean and polished concrete, and there are dark hardwood floors on the stairs and in the hallways. We found healthy plants on every floor of the building and even on the stairs between each floor. The people who work here love their plants.
“The whole top floor has lots of single rooms which gets cleaned by the staff every day – it makes you feel like you are in a hotel, and not a hostel.”
All of the staff members are very friendly. We had a very late check-in, but there were no issues when we arrived. There is someone at the front desk all day and night, and they were kind enough to carry our luggage up to the top floor for us when while we were getting checked in. We felt like we were in a hotel, and not a hostel.
The single rooms come with comfortable queen sized beds.

But what I loved the most about the hostel was its strategic location within the Victory Monument area. The moment we stepped outside, we were surrounded with all of the fantastic street food that Bangkok is famous for. We were also very close to the BTS sky train, so getting around Bangkok was easy.
